FEEDING MR. THRUSHIE

This acrylic painting created by artist Jasmine Lindquist was acquired from the Mystic by the Sea gift shop located in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) in 2024.

Jasmine Lindquist is a US Virgin Islands based painter and muralist. She was born and raised on St. Thomas and is an alumna of the local School of Visual Arts and Careers program. She attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio and received her bachelor's in psychology. In 2017, Jasmine returned to St. Thomas for what was meant to be a visit but was caught up in the hurricanes Irma and Maria. Two years after weathering the storms, Jasmine had started her journey to reconnecting with the art community n the USVI with her first solo art show, "Reintroduction".

Jasmine has participated in many art shows and group exhibitions and has made her mark all over the island of St. Thomas, painting beautiful murals that aim to inspire and bring joy to those who see them. Jasmine is inspired most by nature, fiction and psychology. Jasmine works primarily with acrylic paint and canvas. An illustrator at heart, she creates art with the intention of sparking the viewer's imagination and encouraging them to create their own stories and interpretations of her work.
